About
Why consult Dr. David J Spirer
I am a board-certified radiologist and neuroradiologist with the personality to assist with your medical legal cases. I have been practicing medicine since 2007, with experience in neurointerventional pain procedures, interventional radiology, and teleradiology. I have also obtained additional certifications and training in occupational exposures and the legal issues associated with them.
After completing my fellowship, I developed an interest in occupational exposures and the legal issues associated with them. I obtained further training from the American College of Radiology (ACR) and became a NIOSH Certified B Reader. This means that I am qualified to interpret chest X-rays for pneumoconiosis (black lung disease) and other occupational lung diseases.
I have been practicing as a radiologist for over 14 years, with experience in various settings and modalities. I have reviewed thousands of MRI, CT, and IR procedures. I have also performed neurointerventional pain procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation. I have experience as a hospital-based radiologist with IR and pain procedures for five years. I also have experience as a teleradiologist for seven years, working remotely for various clients across the country.
I currently hold 20 state licenses in good standing, which allows me to practice radiology in different jurisdictions. I am also familiar with the laws and regulations that apply to medical malpractice cases in different states.
I am the President and CEO of AM Medicine LLC, a private practice consulting radiologist company based outside of Chicago. I offer my services as an expert witness and consultant for medical malpractice cases involving radiology. I can provide objective and unbiased opinions on whether there was a breach of the standard of care by the defendant radiologist or health care provider. I can also assist with case review, report writing, deposition, and trial testimony.
If you are looking for a qualified and experienced radiologist to help you with your medical malpractice case, please contact me by email or phone. I will be happy to discuss your case with you and provide you with a free initial consultation.
